DNA Isolation Membrane

DNA is becoming an increasingly valuable tool in both identifying people and for research in everyday life. The DNA Isolation Membrane is a state-of-the-art technology previously available only to forensic officials. It is now available exclusively in the ID Complete and GenetiKid DNA Child Identification products, as well as sold separately. The DNA Paper is coated with agents that lyse cells on contact to prevent degradation of the sample and provides for inactivation of disintegrating enzymes and micro-organisims such as viruses, and bacteria, etc. A sample from this membrane can be extracted within a few hours or can be archived safely for years. Parents can preserve an at-home DNA sample of their child and store it at room temperature for decades to maintain a comprehensive DNA record in the event of an emergency or simply to have for a future medical reference.

Nontoxic Fingerprinting Ink Strip

Our 1" by 5" ink strips consist of a layer of fingerprinting ink sandwiched between two thin, flexible, clear plastic strips. Simply pull apart the tabs to expose the ink, using it as you would traditional inking systems, and then just throw it away. Each case contains 2,400 individual ink strips shrink-wrapped in units of 200.
